Wittenborg Strengthens Recruitment Network at ICEF Asia in Vietnam
Michael Sheppard Continues Outreach Following Series of Global Recruitment Events
Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences continued its international recruitment drive at ICEF Asia in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 10 to 12 June, where it was represented by Recruitment & Sales Representative Michael Sheppard.
The event brought together approximately 150 university representatives and 300 education agents from across Asia and other global markets, providing a busy programme of meetings aimed at strengthening partnerships and developing new recruitment channels.
ICEF Asia is recognised as a key B2B platform in international education, enabling institutions to connect directly with trusted recruitment partners and explore opportunities in fast-growing student markets.
The Vietnam visit followed a series of recent international engagements for Wittenborg, including ICEF South Asia in Sri Lanka and India and the World of Education Expo in Kyrgyzstan. Together, these events reflect a sustained effort to deepen relationships across multiple regions and broaden access to diverse student groups.
Sheppard noted the strong momentum in the Asian market, highlighting both the professionalism of partners and the positive atmosphere throughout the event.
“The event was a success, with a full schedule and many more impromptu meetings. I left with renewed positivity about the Asian market and the knowledge that Wittenborg’s prestige and working practices mean we will receive quality applicants for years to come,” he said.
He also reflected on the experience of visiting Ho Chi Minh City, describing it as a vibrant and welcoming destination with a strong cultural energy, which adds to the value of attending such regional events.
