Wittenborg Lecturer Explores the Impact of Digitalisation Through Erasmus+ Mobility
Fjorentina Muco Joins International Training on Digitalisation in Slovakia
Fjorentina Muco, Senior Lecturer at Wittenborg, recently participated in an Erasmus+ mobility programme on the Impact of Digitalisation on Economy and Society hosted by the Management School of Bratislava in Slovakia. The programme brought together 17 participants from different European countries, including Romania, Portugal, Poland, Greece, Italy and Slovakia.
The programme focused on the role of digitalisation in different areas, including the economy, education, art, management and student life. Participants discussed how digital technologies are influencing society and explored ways they can be applied effectively in professional and educational settings.
Muco highlighted the value of learning from experts and exchanging ideas with colleagues from different backgrounds.
“One key insight was provided by an expert in technology and how it can be used effectively in different aspects of life, specifically in preparing lessons efficiently.”
Alongside the sessions, Muco valued the opportunity to connect with participants from across Europe.
“I am quite satisfied with the hospitality of the hosting organisation and the goodwill of all the participants.”
She added that socialising and exchanging experiences with counterparts was one of the highlights of the mobility experience.
The discussions during the programme also opened opportunities for future collaboration.
Muco said she was excited about the possibility of continuing the conversations beyond the training:
“I am excited because there will be research that will follow. Some of the participants showed willingness to write a paper about this topic.”
Continuing Wittenborg’s Erasmus+ Mobility Journey
Muco’s participation in the Erasmus+ mobility programme follows other recent outgoing staff mobility experiences at Wittenborg, including training activities undertaken by colleagues such as Amal Abi Orm in Sicily, Emmah Muchoki in Ireland and Nicoleta Salaru in Romania.
